CSI LifeCycle Leasing GmbH and myclimate Offer Voluntary Carbon Offset Program
CSI LifeCycle Leasing GmbH and myclimate, a non-profit foundation specialising in carbon offset projects, have collaborated to offer CSI customers a voluntary "carbon neutral" leasing offset program. Myclimate has developed a carbon calculator which projects the annual CO2 impact of different types of IT equipment to estimate how many tonnes of CO2 may be offset with voluntary payments made in addition to the CSI lease payments.
Myclimate is committed to using the offset payments to develop and support international projects that aim to reduce greenhouse emissions and also contribute to sustainable development in project regions.
